Purple Bud Automatic is a feminized autoflowering strain that is extremely easy to grow. With 75% indica and 25% sativa, the plants often display vibrant shades of purple during flowering. It performs well indoors or outdoors and even thrives in colder climates. The effect is powerful: relaxing, yet uplifting and clear.

This variety blends ruderalis genetics with the original Purple Bud Feminized to create a robust, cold-loving autoflower that delivers dependable harvests and a calm, happy high.

Growth pattern
Purple Bud Automatic is partly descended from two premium Afghan hash plants, giving it a sturdy structure and fast flowering. A Jamaican parent adds 25% sativa, giving slightly more height than a typical indica. Mature plants reach 90–140 cm.

Total life cycle: about 14 weeks, including 8–10 weeks of flowering. Autoflowers produce slightly lower yields than feminized or regular versions but require minimal skill and can be grown almost anywhere – even on a sunny windowsill.

Buds start as pointed calyxes and gradually swell, merging into dense colas toward the end of bloom.

It isn’t suited to many advanced training methods, but SOG, SCROG and lollipopping are good options.

Warm climate growers can achieve two harvests per summer.
