Double Banana Kush Feminized is 95% indica and 5% sativa. It was created by back-crossing Banana Kush with its parental lines and adding the sweet orange notes of California Indica. This results in a highly stable, ultra-potent Kush variety with double the flavour, resin and power.

The top Banana Kush F1 was back-crossed with OG Kush, and a fruity F2 phenotype was crossed with citrus-heavy California Indica. These were blended into a new stable line: Double Banana Kush.

Growth pattern
As a 95% indica, this strain is strong, compact and fast. California Indica provides extra hybrid vigor. It grows well outdoors in warm climates, in greenhouses, and especially indoors under lights where the frostiest plants appear.

Seed plants stretch up to 150% in bloom; clones usually double in height. Less lateral branching than Banana Kush makes it ideal for SOG, lollipopping and supercropping. Phenotypes with broader branching also work well in ScrOG.

Flowering resembles Banana Kush but with more inter-node distance in late bloom. Large conical buds form at every node and stack into heavy colas. Calyxes may start small but swell dramatically. Trichome coverage is extreme, often giving a golden tint as they mature.

Yields are typically large.

Taste, aroma & effect
The dried aroma is richer than Banana Kush: banana, orange, berry, passionfruit, melon and chocolate.

The effect is deeply indica – blissful, relaxing, thought-provoking and ideal for chilling, gaming, films, music or social evenings. Not full couchlock unless overdone.
